This is a static reference site. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to buy, so there is very little to collect, and this page is a description of what the site actually does rather than a template.

What the site does not do

• No accounts. There is nothing to log into.
• No cookies of its own. The site sets none.
• No third-party scripts, embeds, fonts or ad trackers. Every page loads only from this domain, including the one webfont used for headings - it’s a file served from here, not a request to Google or anyone else - and there are no social widgets, tag managers, or pixels.
• No profiling, and nothing sold or shared with advertisers or data brokers.

The search page

Search runs entirely in your browser. Opening /en/search/ downloads one file - the color index - and everything after that (typing a name, a code or a hex value, and filtering) happens on your own device. What you search for is never sent anywhere, because there is no server-side search to send it to.

If you arrive on that page from a link with filters in the address, such as /en/search/?family=blue, those values come from the link you clicked. Nothing writes them back and nothing stores them. The site also stores nothing in your browser: no local storage, no session storage.

What the hosting sees

The site is served by Cloudflare. Like any web server, Cloudflare receives the information a browser has to send to be given a page - the address requested, your IP address, your user agent, and the time - and processes it to deliver the page and to protect the site from attacks and abuse. That is inherent to being on the web, not a choice this site makes on top of it. Cloudflare may set a strictly necessary security cookie as part of that protection; the site itself sets none.

Analytics: none is running at the time of writing. If and when it is added it will be Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies, no client-side identifiers and no cross-site tracking, and reports aggregate page counts only. This page will be updated in the same change that enables it - if you are reading this sentence, it is not enabled.

If you email a correction

Every color page has a link to report a correction, which opens your own mail client. If you use it, whatever you write reaches an inbox - including your email address, because that is how email works. It is used to check and fix the data you wrote about, and to reply to you. It is not added to a mailing list, and there is no mailing list to add it to.

Send only what is needed to make the correction. If you would rather not be identifiable, say what is wrong without saying who you are; a correction is useful either way.

Links to other sites

Brand pages link to the manufacturer’s own website and to the catalog file the data came from. Those are other people’s sites, with their own privacy practices, and this page does not cover them.
